While working with L.A. Inc, I was lucky enough to help out in the art direction of the photoshoot for The Station, the main project I worked on. It was shot at a subway station and it was all very exciting getting to watch the process and give my input on the shots. Here are a few behind the scene photos. The resulting use of the imagery taken that day can be seen on The Station website and my website which should be launching within the next week! Hoorah!

Work in Progress
I'm currently working on revamping my website while juggling a few freelance projects. Here's a quick look at the before and after home page. I hope to launch it within the next week or so and then get applying to jobs all over the world!
You can view the current site at www.katemccarthydesign.com. In hindsight, it's not that user friendly, some of the project details are hard to view clearly and a bit of info about the projects themselves would probably be of benefit too.
The new site will be much more intuitive and have a bit more personality than the older version. I'm really enjoying the challenge of coding the site myself using a mixture of html, dreamweaver and javascript. I've done other sites, including my old portfolio site but they were much more basic then this one will be!
